Founded in 1959, Prabhu Dayal Public School stands as a testament to the vision and dedication of its founder, Late Shri Prabhu Dayal Bhatia. An eminent educationist, he held qualifications including M.A., B.T., Diploma in Educational and Vocational Guidance, and was a Fulbright Exchange Teacher at Harvard University, USA.

Born on 23 September 1906 in Vahula, District Jhelum (now in Pakistan), Shri Bhatia devoted his life to the cause of education and nation-building. His dedication towards education laid the foundation of an institution that has continued to guide generations of students for more than six decades. His vision focused not only on academics but also on helping students develop discipline, confidence, and a sense of responsibility.
